Welcome to Nami Island

Knowing that in this place where the famous koreanovela “Endless Love: Winter Sonata” was shot, I was really thrilled. This post will be less words, more pictures. Pictures can say it all… 

The picture below was the actual table seen in the TV series as the 2 main characters made this kissing snowmen.

The place itself, is so relaxing,.. few miles away from the city. in fact, you need to ride a ferry boat in order to reach the island. Since the filming of Winter Sonata, the place had been a tourist spot for both locals and foreigners.

The stone seen on the above picture has the engraved poem made by General Nami in whom the entire island was named after.
