Not to Miss In South Korea: Changing of Guards Ceremony

When you happen to be in Seoul, make sure you don’t miss to visit the Gyeongbok Palace. During the Joseon Dynasty, this is the main royal palace. This served as home of Kings and his household.
This palace was built during the 1300s and was restored multiple times.

Be sure to visit the palace between the hours of 10:00 am till 3:00pm, everyday except Tuesdays to witness the Changing of Guards Ceremony. This is held in front of the main gate Gwanghwamun gate every hour from 10 am till 3:00 in the afternoon. This is actually a very colourful event. very organized. It was stated last November 2011, that this was the third favourite activity in Seoul and one of the country's tourist attraction.

One good thing is that, these Royal Guards are kind enough to allow you to take pictures with them, however they will just stand still and will never smile.

Hope this article helped you! Have tha awesome-est day in South Korea!
