Flying with China Airlines: A Review
This is my first time traveling over seas with China Airlines. Been going in and out of the country multiple times a year but never tried this airline before. Since our trip was scheduled late, I was not given the chance to check for seat sale with low cost carriers. But thanks to the unavoidable circumstances, i've got the chance to ride China Airlines. Here is my honest review.
First, booking was pretty easy just like other companies. 30 kg check-in baggage allowance , inflight meals and seat selection are already included, all for free. However, being a Seventh-day Adventist Christian, i have food restrictions. On the online booking, there were only few meal choices. I would like to order for a Muslim meal (the closest option to my food restrictions), but it is not included in the dropbox choices. i called the airline, and they were considerate enough to give in to my request.
Everything was running smoothly from the airport, check-in and baggage drop off. Boarding was also on time. if it says 10:05 am, they actually called for boarding at around 10:05am
I was flying from Manila to Taipei. Since most of my fellow passengers were transiting to Taipei and going mostly to United States, i was riding a jumbo plane.
Inflight entertainment was ok. But there were few newly released movie choices. But still they can keep you entertained through out the flight.

This is my requested special "no pork" meal.
overall, the experience was pretty good and i will have the chance to travel again, even for long hour flights to the west side of the globe, i will consider riding this carrier again.
Disclaimer: this is an honest review, I am not in any way related to China Airlines.
