What Happens when You Wanted A Disney Birthday! inside DisneyLand

May 2018! The last birthday I will be celebrating in my 20s, and since I am a Mickey Mouse lover ever since I can remember, when asked where do I want to spend my birthday, Disneyland it is!

I am living approximately just 2 hours away from Disneyland Park in Anaheim, so this is feasible compared to when I was still in the Philippines, the fastest route to the nearest Disney is two-hour flight to Hong Kong!

So the question is what happens, when you celebrate your birthday inside the park?

First things first, there are NO birthday discounts! (I wish!). but after paying for the ticket, and entering the park, go directly to any souvenir store and ask for a birthday pin. This is somehow a common knowledge trick! Because if you follow the original protocol, they will tell you to go to Guest Relations Office, which has a long line of guests with different inquiries, since you only want the pin, then go to any souvenir shops and they’ll give you a birthday pin, and those who are celebrating with you can also have a pin which says: Celebrating with ______!

Now that you have the pin, what’s next?
If you are a Disney fan like me, I check first the schedules of character encounters because I really wanted to meet them. but as I walk to the park, I am glad that there are people who greet me for my birthday. Most of them were staff of the park, but some visitors too greet me. and it seems like the Disney characters, knows how to recognize the pin, they will greet you as soon as they see you, sometimes will give you a hug too!

So here’s my photos of my Disney encounters as proof that am really enjoying my birthday!

Lastly we dine at the Carnation Café for dinner before the fireworks display. Jeff specifically asks for a mini birthday cake we can purchase, and gladly they told us, they have one mini birthday cupcake and its free!!!
and because its near the closing time and everybody is preparing for the most awaited fireworks, the restaurant staff gave me red flowers too!
can you notice that even candy sprinkles are Mickey Shaped too? How cute is that?

there are many photo pass staff roaming around the park, in fact, you can ask them to take photos of you showing how you enjoyed your stay. one photo will cost you ~$15 each, but you can have all your photos with just $78 no matter how many photos you had!

So, I enjoyed most of my birthday.. in the happiest place on earth.. only on this earth, because the real, most happy place ever, is in the kingdom of heavens our Lord God has prepared for us.

This is also may first birthday celebrated in the United States.. on my exact date of birth. So I may sound over acting, but I am truly happy. And I know other Disney fan out there can understand me too!

Adios! Au revoir! Till next time!
